Welcome to the home page of the 7Basic project! 7Basic is an ambitious open-source project that intends to create a compiler based on the 7Basic language. The compiler will be able to create full-fledged 32-bit Windows executable files. This enables the programs created with 7Basic to be as small as possible yet still run at full speed. What does open-source mean? 7Basic is a community-based project. The full source code for 7Basic is freely available from our downloads page. You are free to make changes to the source code and redistribute it under certain restrictions listed in the GNU General Public License. (http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/gpl.html) You can also contribute to the development of 7Basic. Go to our sign-up page for more details. Is 7Basic available for download? 7Basic is still in its early stages. The compiler is not complete yet and is untested. At this point 7Basic is intended mostly for developers as it is not capable of compiling anything yet. Copyright (C) 2009 - Nathan Osman |
